Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to all of you, and may God Bless you richly. Let’s take a moment to see what Christmas is, and what is not to be about. First, what Christmas is.

What Christmas is about:

Luk 2:8  And in the same country there were shepherds living in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
Luk 2:9  And lo, the angel of the Lord came on them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. And they were grievously afraid.
Luk 2:10  And the angel said to them, Do not fear. For behold, I give to you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luk 2:11  For to you is born today, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luk 2:12  And this is a sign to you. You will find the babe wrapped, lying in a manger.
Luk 2:13  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,
Luk 2:14  Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luk 2:15  And it happened as the angels departed from them into Heaven, the shepherds said to one another, Indeed, let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing which has happened, which the Lord made known to us.

What Christmas is not to be about:

Going in dept

Pushing and shoving

Grabbing

Rushing

Giving to receive

Too busy to take time to listen, love, understand, and hear the true needs of others, just not opening up your heart.

So busy, that Jesus Himself is not your focus.

Perfection

Anger

Greed

Fighting

Maybe you have thought of more than what is on this list, the point is that you not allow the world to keep you from the true meaning of Christmas.

The world is a very pushy place. Everywhere you look it tells you to buy, buy, buy! Jesus does not want you to go in dept. That is not His will for you.

Jesus wants you to do all things with love, peace and joy. And remember, you are a trusted stewards with the money He has given you. Remember to use it according to His will. Ask Him to help you see Christmas as He sees it, not as the world sees it.

God Bless all of you, and may His Spirit of Love, Peace, Joy, and Guidance dwell deeply within you this Christmas season, and Christams Day.
